Seda Systems is an IT Consulting company that performs design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure solutions that primarily involve Linux and Open-source software.

Our main specialties are:

Seda Systems is especially well-versed in Bareos, and achieved Bareos Certified Partner status in 2025. We've been using Bareos [and it's predecessor Bacula] since 2006. Our Bareos solutions have involved Disk, Cloud, and Tape - and protected 100's of TBs of data thus far. We sell Bareos subscriptions, design Bareos environments, etc - if it involves Bareos, we can provide a tailored solution based on the customers' unique needs.

Consulting

We love coming up with clever ways to solve problems, and strive to choose the best tool for the job. While we prefer Open-source software, we also utilize proprietary software as needed, e.g. when it better suits the project requirements.

We normally provide solutions that integrate into existing IT infrastructure, but can also deploy an entire Public, Private, or Hybrid Cloud if needed.

Support

Support is offered as an extension of our consulting services. Implementing a solution is one thing, but maintaining it is another. All solutions provided by our IT Consultants include thorough documentation. For support beyond the provided documentation, we also offer support engagements/subscriptions.
